The B. Arch. programme is a five-year course with an intake capacity of 80 students. The B.Arch. programme is offered in two modes:regular and self-financing with 40 seats each. Both modes have the same curriculum and are run parallel in the morning and evening shifts.
The B. Arch programme is a rigorous course comprising studio and field work and has promising career prospects. The infrastructure available in the faculty is in sync with changing trends and has among other things workstations, a full fledged library, model workshops, and state-of-the-art laboratories.
The last date of receiving application forms for the B. Arch programme is 10th of May 2012 and the Entrance Test for the B. Arch will be held on the 2nd of June 2012.
The Postgraduate programmes, of two years each, includes Masters in Ekistics with an intake of 20 and Masters in Architecture (M. Arch.) with an intake of 60. The areas of specialization in M.Arch. are Pedagogy, Medical Architecture, Building Services, Recreational Architecture, Urban Regeneration.
The last date of receiving application forms for the M. Arch and M.Ekistics is 11th of June 2012 and the Entrance Test will be held on the1st of July 2012.
The Faculty also offers a Ph.D. programme in the unique field of Ekistics which seeks to provide a holistic approach, so that growth and management of human settlements, both rural and urban, can be shaped, taking into account the needs, aspirations, and expectations of the people.
