L&T bags orders worth Rs 1,306 crore in February

L&T Construction announced on Friday that it has bagged Rs 1,306 crore orders across various business segments in February.

The power transmission and distribution division of the company secured Rs 514 crore orders and a major contract from Power Grid Corporation for construction of double circuit transmission line from Varanasi to Kanpur and Varanasi to Allahabad. Its building and factories unit bagged Rs 451 crore order for residential towers’ construction and mechanical erection work for construction of a cement plant, the company said in a filing to the BSE

L&T Construction has also secured an order worth Rs 220 crore, in the solar business unit, for setting up a 23 mw solar plant in Rajasthan.
